EidulAdha Celebration

We actually very seldom go back home for EidulAdha celebration. But then this year BBH wanted to celebrate it at his kampong. So OK, since it is coincidently fall on my off days so we went back to his parents.. and during the 2nd day we went to his granny house.. there it was!.. the ritual to sacrifice, event of the celebration. For this we had a cow, but I didnot go closely to capture the cow's picture.. all I got was my darlings picture :))

Look! Hannan was kind of shocked to see how they slaughtered the cow. Come on Hannan, be brave!

And there was Hani sitting on BBH lap..  dear BBH, it is totally not difficult for you to melt me like ice cream you know~  :P

It was a good one, as BBH's  granny house is located at Selama, Perak. It is truly village style in everything. We cooked the meat to a few type of dishes, I did one course :P  then,.. you know,.. my favorite event. Mentekedarah :P hihihihi...

By the way, do you guys know that there are some sunnah during the day?

Sunnah of Eid   Wake up early.  Prepare for personal cleanliness, take care of details of clothing, etc.  Take a Ghusl (bath) after Fajr. Brush your teeth. Dress up, putting on best clothes available, whether new or cleaned old ones.  Use perfume (men only).  Have breakfast on Eid-al-Fitr before leaving for prayer ground. On    Eid-al-Adha, eat breakfast after Salaat or after sacrifice if you are    doing a sacrifice.  Pay Zakaat-al-Fitr before Salaat-al-Eid (on Eid-al-Fitr).  Go to prayer ground early.  Offer Salaat-al-Eid in congregation in an open place except when whether is not permitting like rain, snow, etc.  Use two separate route to and from the prayer ground.  Recite the following Takbir on the way to Salaat and until the beginning of Salaat-al-Eid:  Allaho-Akber, Allaho-Akber. La ila-ha ill-lal-lah. Allaho-Akber, Allaho-Akber. Wa-lilahill hamd. (Allah is great, Allah is great. There is no god but Allah. Allah is great, Allah is great. And all praises are for Allah).

WFH and spongebob

There are certain times when I requested my manager to allow me to work from home, especially when:

1- I am not feeling well
2- Hubs and kids not feeling well
3- Transportation issue, etc

So, there was this day lah I worked from home as usual. Since our study room is not ready yet, i tended to use dining table as my workplace. The gurls as usual will be watching cartoons or playing games at living room. I was calling AT&T to get an update on T3 outage at States and talked to somebody name Gary.

Me : Yes, Gary.. You said your name was Gary, right?

and then si Hannan ran to me and ask:

Hannan : Mommy.. mommy, mommy talk to Gary spongebob ke? ha mommy?

And I was on my softphone mic, obviously the guy over there heard what she said and he was laughing like hell. hahahahahha

Lesson:

Try to minimize working from home, and if you do, better stay away from your kids or mute your phone!

My Dream Car

We were having a family outing at Jusco near my house when we first spotted this car. OMG! I am in love with it at an instant. I REALY REALLY WANT IT!  well, my small and cute kelisa has been 5 years with me, clearly I have a reason to buy a new car. ehehehhe...  but not now for sure. My daughters chocolate and ssnowy seems to like it too. You just wait!! I am gonna put this in my wishlist and am gonna work hard to get it. ( Am I?.. or am i gonna beg mr eazy? )..  ahhaha, it is a NO, NO and NO for sure. As I am always proud of myself, being independent and always get what I want at my own price, that will not be a good choice. I will find out somehow. Someday I will get that car!!  It is just a matter of time, Mummy!!

My wish list

Sometimes, I dont even know what I really really want... I think i've had enough. I have a loving and caring husband, a good career with a good pay, beautiful and smart children. Wasn't that enough?  but still, we need something to get going and improves our life, right. therefore I create the wish lish which you can see right at the right corner of this blog. Is wish list is the same as your GOAL?...  i seriously have no idea. Okay, let me tell you about my wish list. What I want most at the moment is 1.5k salary increment. Do you know why?... My 1st daughter, ms chocolate, always ask for a bigger car with seaters at the back. I can only afford the car if I can get salary increment of 1.5k. In fact we can buy the car now, but i dont want to waste money which I should put aside for my savings. Then.. why I want those certificates?... because...  by getting those certs I can ask for higher pay :P  and one more thing, already promise my husband that I can buy the car if I passed all the papers!!  ( now it is getting clear ha?...  everything is about getting that car!) absolutely. :P

haish, itu posting pertama?... hehehe, boleh la kut? I like that song so much, awat la? tatau la.. agaknya sebab lagu tu kekadang boleh mengimbas kembali zaman2 kejahilan dulu kot?... hahahha, sekarang pun mami ni sama je,... selalu lalai dan leka. wahai anak2 mami, jangan la ikut perangai mami hang ni. tak elok!! :=)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!~

Happy 29th Brithday!~

O' OOoooO, it is my 29th birthday. Oh no! I feel old and when I look into the mirror I see wrinkles! hahaha.. not something that I care much about actually. (though my momma keep on telling me dont ever forget your moisturizer!)

Know what?.. actually I am not one of those grooming type. I am a very simple person,.. Work?  There I go with my jeans and shirt mostly. I have collections of Elizabeth Arden & Estee Lauder which has been there for years. Might need to throw it sooner.

About my birthday, well,.. I got a call from my Dad, wishing me "a very happy birthday" and asking how am I feeling reaching 30 soon (next year, okay!!)? Well, what can I say... I missed the times when we celebrated birthdays at home, and what I missed the most is his hug. Believe it or not, my dad still kiss & hug me like I was small. Not only me, but all of us. Dad is my bestfriend and will always be.

Lunch?... Had lunch with my mr eazy, and later we went to look for a condo which he was so interested about. Which unit to choose?... ha ha ha. he suggested 13-10, which to remind me of my birthday. Objected! then we picked another unit. Going back to office, continue with all the routines, until they surpised me with a cake!! 

Well... it is sweet. But it is not really a surprise actually. ha ha ha. I know they will do it. That morning, Ad suppose to test network connectivity at our new coming office. Then he was coming back late. I was asking Jay where was he and why it took him so long to reach office. And this guy Jay (too bad he is not in the pic) kinda telling me he was on his way.. (hey Jay, u know I dont buy ur bluff, right?)   hahaha...  anyway, thanks so much!!  I love you guys!

P/s: If we look into this picture, who is more excited?..  hahaha, not me for sure. :P
